“Road of Rhode” Rhode Government Facility, Miami, FL – 1990
The Rhode sculpture installation interfaces with the architecture and the landscape, focusing attention on the passage-way through the buildings as a personal experience. A processional walkway with sculptural elements suggesting protection heralds the coming and going of pedestrian traffic. Sculptural forms that are also seating and a giant sphere offer points of circulation and a resting zone.
