“Whispering Place”  West Regional Courthouse, Plantation, FL – 1997

This small site is a pocket park between a Regional Courthouse and a Public Library. It creates a place for meditation, reading and relaxation. The sculptural forms respond to our historical connections both real and implied. The work bonds the architecture with the natural surroundings providing a central focus between the courthouse and the library and a way-finding path between the two buildings. The hovering forms allude to protection.
